It really is astonishing how similar the right and left NPC groups are.
There is really no difference between the two groups. They are both authoritarian groups who believe in using government to control you. Neither of these groups adhere to constitutionally limited government. There are damned few constitutional conservatives these days. Rand Paul may be the only one.

They’ve been raging war against the Russian separatists in the east for ten years. A real leader would’ve understood this wasn’t sustainable and found a way to appease this section of your population to end the conflict and give them voice.
fair

Your border is a world super power, a leader would have recognized the reality of this and positioned themselves to be neutral….which would’ve been pretty lucrative as a trading hinge betweeen the west and Russia. Also, you have to realize that Russia wasn’t kidding about having you as a buffer for NATO weapons
Putin himself has said neutrality wasn't his entire concern, but still, fair

A real leader wouldn’t be tricked into doing photo ops and money laundering for the enemy of your bordering nation. Don’t poke the bear.

That’s my definition. If it makes you feel better we can call the a significant nuclear power.
Also, nowhere in my post did I mention Putin but am now apparently his lackey and a Russian stooge. I agree with everyone that he’s a murderous shithead….but was pointing out how a serious leader could have avoided this bloodshed in the first place. After Crimea, it became pretty clear that an invasion was a real possibility and there wasn’t going to be NATO armies rolling in to bail you out.
Everyone can talk about “appeasement” but if your Ukraine and don’t have the military to defend yourself, you better damn well come up with some understanding with Russia or face what we’re seeing.
Oh…and I did correct misspelling Zelenskys name. I can’t get that shite right.

Russia’s debt ratio is one of the lowest in the world at 19.48% of its GDP. Russia is the ninth least indebted country in the world. Russia’s debt is currently at a total of over 14 billion ??? ($216 billion USD). Most of Russia’s external debt is private.
Dude but PER capita brooo, that’s the only thing that matters!!
