Wow what, smart guy? Do you somehow percieve yourself as intelligent?

And while we are at it, what war is currently on the table?

Certainly there are entities that benefit from military operations such as defense contractors, but these aren't policy makers.

The term "pro war" is so broad it's essentially meaningless. What war are we talking about.

Provoking Iran

Provoking Syria

Yemen - do you care about the genocidal starvation of children? Did Texas A&M teach you anything about that?

Sending quinfrickingtillions to any country who will take it and simultaneously promise to buy weapons from us in exchange.

Go back to 9th grade little boy.

What a gas bag with a simplistic view on geopolitics.

That you are insulting anyone's intelligence is pretty entertaining.

I'd love to read more. Do you have a newsletter to which I can subscribe.

11. "Media" in Qatar = Al Jezerra or however it's spelled (the ones who set up Lt Gen Michael Flynn for his bravery)

12. Every groundlevel Democrat I talk to who doesn't give a rats arse about sending our soldiers to die.

13. Germany, who loves seeing our military make them money in their domestic economy, and then they don't give a shite when our boys die.

the last two decades have been an intentional purge of our good and great soldiers

guess what kind of "soldiers" replaced them

The basest of political orthodoxies in the United States, at least for the last 75 years, is that we have a moral and political obligation to police the world and "spread democracy". Every inside the Beltway group and organization perpetuate this warmongering. Both parties vote for it. It is more entrenched in the DC swamp than any other issue.

Death penalty seems at odds with Christianity too. Jus sayin...

How so? Is there anything in the Bible that says it is not to be used as a punishment?

Interesting part is people against the the death penalty are mostly all in on abortion.

Righteous war isn't anti-Christian Conservative either. Just gets blurry on what is or not a Righteous war.

I believe we should bomb the shite out of any country that unjustly attacks or harms a single American Citizen. Other than that we should mind our own business and let governments take care of their own problems.

So am I pro war or anti war?

Just the last 75 yrs? We've been going into the middle east to protect Americans going to Israel going back into the early-mid 1800s.

IMO the attempt to spread the American way of democracy around the world is as American as apple pie.

Bad part is chyna is doing a mix of euro-imperilism and American "democracy spreading" tactics. And they are winning as we keep kicking ourselves in the taint.

Why not?

Use our advanced military when we have technological edges in warfare. Plant the flag and claim the resources. Profit!

Rinse Repeat. We will have it all. How is that better than just letting the military sit around training all year to do nothing? Drain resources and get some experience? or go to a desert and fight an endless war for nothing. Cut the dogs of war loose and let them do what they were designed to do.

Paleoconservative = anti-war
Neoconservative = pro-war

Unfortunately, the GOP has been led by neocons for the past 50 years.

Was is the only thing left where America as a whole leads the world without peer.

Without the war machine the American dollar would be worth less than a Mexican peso.

They shouldn’t be such blanket terms, imo. It’s really case by case.

Going to war because we want your resources? No
Going to war because you want to cripple an economy? No

Going to war to protect your allies? Yes
Going to war because a country is committing war crimes against its people? Yes.
Hitler
Pearl Harbor

There are many reason for war these are just some basic examples.

Neither of those is a reason to go to war, especially the second one. We go to war to protect America and its people. That's it.
