did figure out that "a fine Christian Man" is code for being Southern Baptist. Time for GOP to dump the moral majority and get back to decreasing the Federal govt and increasing States' rights. The GOP is fiscally conservative but should not be socially conservative like when the moral majority hijacked the party.

Well genius, if the social conservatives left the party how would the 25% of the electorate that would be left ever win anything?

Yes, blame me all you want. When we all stand before Jesus, I bet you will be crying and begging for him to consider you an evangelical.

Easy, you would get the majority of the country back as most of the country is moderate

What is socially conservative about child molestation?

And, as Trump shows, the GOP is definitely not fiscally conservative.

Good for you but as for government, there should be separation of Church and State

No actually a Catholic, I wouldn’t want him to know I broke away from the church he founded.

On another subject:

Talking about people standing before God will cost you a load of votes. Holier than though turns many people off. Does me for sure States rights, holding government accountable, getting them out of our everyday lives is the winning way. Articulate that frame of thought and why it’s better for us as a country.
