Not responsibility free at all. We/I pay for these children anyway.

Do I think they should be returned to their country of origin? Sure.

My post refers to the number of true orphans who have no parents to be found.

to op, the wife and I have talked about it already. I am not sure if we would, but its a potential. We are already foster parents (of a sort). We don't have biological children.

This is true, but unfortunately many cannot be adopted. I know people who have been trying to adopt a child for years without being able to do it.
