That's fine, my point isn't about the magnitude of the issue, which I agree has been massively overblown. Call it a "MAGA point of disagreement" if you prefer. My point is that this isn't some external wedge, it's a natural and predictable point of disagreement.
It didn't take a political Svengali to foresee the friction between Trump voters who actually believed him when he said H1B needed to go away and Trump voters who are fine with anything and everything he says or does.

Why is this said like it is gospel? Trump was booed big league when he spoke about covid with that nimrod BOR.
If Trump deviated from MAGA which is common sense. He would be disavowed quicker than white on rice.
I happen to think that all of those ignorant, bigoted, remarks about brown people from India on X---- that angered Elon regarding the issue at hand was atrocious.
Let the bigots run far away they corrode the big tent.
