Their congressional votes won't be counted.

Their votes in other elections will count.

It is all in the terminology, ballots were not completely tossed, just the votes cast in the congressional races.

Your vote still counts unless the only thing they voted on was the Congressional race and left the rest blank.

I early voted last week. I just left the congressional race alone although the machines was telling me I left something blank.


The machines in today’s election are not as sophisticated and will just light up where to vote and you push the box and it digitally records your vote choices.
