Because you believe the entire legislative process, across the board, starts and ends in the Governor’s office, that Desantis gets all the credit for any and all bills that come across his desk for signature. Apparently he brainstorms the idea, develops it further and puts it into legislative language, then sends it over to the legislature for I don’t even know what.

You count every piece of legislation that Desantis signs as a “win” for him. It’s far from being all credit to a governor like that in every instance. The hard work is done by legislators. That’s generally the case in all states.
