I don’t like the Chinese student shite one little bit, but I think it is probably more a bone to higher Ed than anything else. They are facing a big generational downturn in a couple of years and a lot of schools will need somebody to fill in slots or many schools will struggle bigly to stay open.

I’d argue it’s a culling that is probably needed and that I don’t want these Chi Coms being the ones to keep them off of life support, but I think that’s a big part of what this is about nevertheless.
