Why did we, the US, allow an election to be stolen? huh, why didn't more people show up to burn DC to the ground? don't pretend our citizens are any better than Australia.

Because the Aussies do not have a 2nd amendment. All it took was one act of Parliament to ban all guns. Here it would take a 2/3rds majority in both houses AND 3/4s of states to accomplish it.

Russians gave up their guns because the Bolsheviks said nothing would happen to the people that gave them up. Somewhere along the lines upwards of 100 million Russians were killed afterwards. A small miscalculation.
