Five minutes on r/trumpcriticizestrump is all it takes to find am astounding amount of tweets from just the last couple years that completely contradicts himself, and since he's so hyperbolic it's one exteme to the other.

Refresh us.. was this before or after Obama allowed the JV team to take over the region?

Explain how one or the other would allow you to at the same time agree with the tweet and the current bombing campaign?

The irony is, he probably never does this if rabid, partisan dems and political lifers in DC aren't trying to throw him in prison for "Russian collusion".
Of course. Whenever he does something bad or is hypocritical, it's always either someone else's fault and/or a 4-D chess move.

But when he does something right or is actually consistent, it's all him with no need to go make a 4-D chess move so it should be taken at face value.

Shite changes when you are the Boss. He did what Barak said he would do but didn't.

I am not for going to war in Syria/Russia at all. However, if this very limited precision strike keeps us from going to war with our people in the air and on the ground, then let the Tomahawks fly!

I am still not convinced Assad did the Chemical strike. But if this takes the ability of whomever did it away, is that not a good thing?

Trump does it.

Let me get this straight...you don’t think Assad did it but somehow striking Assad’s forces takes the ability of some other forces, not Assad’s, to mount chemical strikes? WTF?

Then don't say it. If you can't do it when your the boss then don't pretend you can when you're not.

How do we know it was Assad's people? In that civil war, how much control do you think he has over the many factions over there, including his own General's?

I know this, we hit chemical weapons sites that the previous administration was negligent in doing anything about.
If this was a direct attack on Assad, don't you think the Russians would've done something other than pulling their people put of there?!

Think about that while you act condescending to those who choose to wait and see.

I took no position on this, in fact, I assumed yours for my question.

How do you know?

I think Russia wants to avoid a direct conflict with the US. And if this wasn’t aimed at Assad’s forces why did they fire on the missiles?

I don’t think you understood my question.

"Magua understand white man quite well."

How do you know Assad's forces controlled the chemicals?

You don't and neither do I. I know we hit chemical weapons sites tonight. Otherwise, why so short and why did we tell the Russians to withdraw?

Why do you insist DJT is wrong for doing what BHO drew the red line for but wussed out on? If there are no future Chemical attacks, your entire premise is asinine.

We will see.

Again, I’ve taken no position on this...see above

Why would Russians need to withdraw from a chem weapons site that wasn’t controlled by the Assad gov?

Also:

quote:

"We did not do any coordination with Russia on these strikes, and neither did we pre-notify them," Marine General Joseph Dunford, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said Friday night.

"We did not coordinate targets or any planning with the Russians," Dunford said later, speaking at a press briefing alongside Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis. The Joint Chiefs chairman confirmed that normal deconflicting lines were used.

I actually agree with trump’s tweet. We should avoid intervention in others’ civil wars, especially the Mideast variety at this time. Consider our history of ours and others interventions in civil wars...it’s not a good record.
