Newsflash greenies: the Teflon “forever chemicals” are a much bigger fricking issue than cow farts. I’m all aboard looking in to these PFAC chemicals that are in the bodies of 99% of the planet’s population. You want to spend money to investigate this and see what the long term effects are? I’m down.

Oh shite! I forgot, you’re neck deep in propaganda about carbon dioxide. I guess the right is going to have to focus on this one. Go back to yelling at clouds or something.

I mean, this makes sense.

quote:

Long-chain perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs)1
are found world-wide in the environment,
wildlife, and humans. They are bioaccumulative in wildlife and humans, and are persistent in the
environment. To date, significant adverse effects have not been found in the general human
population; however, significant adverse effects have been identified in laboratory animals and
wildlife. Given the long half-life of these chemicals in humans (years), it can reasonably be
anticipated that continued exposure could increase body burdens to levels that would result in
adverse outcomes.

Deadly stuff. Found in all cancerous tumors, deadly if inhaled even in small amounts, major component of acid rain. Surprisingly ubiquitous, as it exists in all environmental media.

Seriously I support real efforts to keep the environment clean. SOx and NOx...that's why catalytic converters are important. Lead in gasoline. Great for engines but bad for baby's bones. Glad it was removed. I encourage study of bio-accumulatable compounds such as PFACs and glyphosate.

The the emotional attachment to CO2 is SOOOOOO disproportional to its negative impact, if any.

Not sure if serious.

PFOS PFOA and related chemicals are getting a lot of attention now that the EPA has listed them as emerging contaminates. The stuff is all over the place. Pretty much every military base and airport has contamination.
