Great op-ed on the NYT trying to dive into the psyche of Iowan's and by extension that of Trump supporters in general. Before the downvotes begin down fret it's not attacking you. Seems like a well thought rationale of a lot of people in this country and is a lot of what the Dems don't understand.

The left is so cult like. The absolute last thing they are willing to hear is facts and reason. It is so bizarre. One side screaming, begging and pleading for a shred of evidence of anything Trump is accused of. While a mountain of evidence is ignored and the issue dismissed as debunked.

This is talking point of the left seems to permeate the media. Did they not see that hunter biden has been paid not $50K a month but over $150K A MONTH and his daddy called off the Ukranian judge prosecuting the company that is paying him? Nothing illegal there. Not to mention the Chinese investment of $1.5 Billion into hunters hedge fund...no nothing to see move along, nothing illegal. Also nothing illegal so the biden campaign has overtly contacted ALL media outlets telling them not to report on the story nor have Rudy on air.
