Articles like this, which started in the 70s, are the reason there are so many "deniers".

If there is one thing that I can be prove to cause climate change (in a isolated areas)...it's every fricking August when Publix down the road I visit at least once a day, repaints their faded light gray parking lot back black again. That burns me up...literally. I can honestly tell a difference. I know it's done everywhere. I wonder if I could get like a $250,000 govt grant to prove that?...easy money.
