Most cancers are staged the same way, it isn’t unique to prostate cancer with the exception of some blood and bone cancers. Stage IV for even the most “benign” cancers has very poor prognosis. I feel for anyone with a cancer diagnosis. It is a very difficult journey

I wonder why he did not get it taken out when it was a lower stage. You can not tell me the doctors did not do the routine bend over and grab your knees prostate finger check yearly.

Taking the prostate out for a lot of men is not something most people would enjoy unless you never want to have sex again and urinate on yourself. It’s a gamble you take on the likelihood it doesn’t turn into something worse
