The Dems thought that the liberal transplants to Texas would help turn it Blue. What they were too stupid to realize is the majority of the Hispanic population in Texas is NOT down with the Elitist White liberal agenda at all. They just assumed most Hispanics would blindly vote Democrat. They were wrong. Most of the Valley area down by the Mexican border went Republican for the first time since the 1800’s.
