What did Dr. Fauci have to say in 2009 about the deadly H1N1 pandemic?

"Parents should not send their kids to school if they're sick, if you're sick don't go to work ... avoid places where there are people who are sick and coughing, now that's a difficult thing to do,” he said. "...You can't isolate yourself from the rest of the world for the whole flu season."

He learned. This time go for the spotlight and scare the shite out of everyone, when it's over and everything is destroyed, you will still be able to write a book and make millions.

Well yeah, that's when Black Jesus was President. But Orange Man is bad and we must destroy him at all costs.

H1N1 had a mortality rate of 0.02%. The most optimistic mortality rate I've seen on COVID-19 is 0.4% (with estimates ranging up to 3%). Do you think this could factor into Fauci's differing responses?

We had a vaccine when he said that.

Using this logic that must mean the 12,000+ that died in the US from H1N1 didn’t matter as much.

The deadly H1N1 epidemic.

The fatality rate for the H1N1 09 epidemic was 0.02 % -- 1/5, yes one-fifth, of the fatality rate of the regular, ordinary, everyday flu.

H1N1 was a very contagious, comparatively non-fatal illness- primarily because it did not generally affect those over 65.

Imagine what we would be doing differently now if the COVID 19 virus had little effect on the 65+ population.
