Yeah, that's why Trump won't debate or do interviews with people that aren't friendly. He mainly does scripted events reading off a teleprompter. He likely had all the questions for this in advance as well.
Trump looked ok but events like this where he has a lot of time to prep while he basically just talks to a friendly crowd with no tough questions or challenges don't say much. It's basically a rally.

Trump is the most off script candidate in the field. If he has to debate DeSantis he will. Fact is he won't have to so there is really no reason to talk about it. You call the CNN townhall host a friendly? Get real your simping for DeSantis . Trump crushed that and was off script the whole time.
