I haven’t seen any yet, and if not then WGAF what any of these same polling groups think? They are democratic propaganda, how do they have any credibility?

Who are they polling? Most people don’t answer the phone these days.

LA Times was the only legit poll really, but it was a controlled group.

538 always does it.

Based on what I’ve read, IBD/TIPP was #1 and Rasmussen was #2. This link seems to corroborate that.

This is probably true but I made sure to answer the phone every time. And I was in NC so I got several chances.

Who needs polling when you're seeing Rs lose support in every district so far?

They're like a weather report. Sometimes they get it right, sometimes they get it wrong. One thing they cant do is predict turnout among different demographics. The polling samples are never of the right quality, because they havent predicted who will actually vote in a certain election.

Same here and each and every time I told them a lie. I would choose the furthest left position I could.

From what I read, the most accurate polling was in Hillary’s camp. Mook tried to warn her but she was too stubborn.

Why polls are necessary is the larger question.

What pragmatic purpose do they serve?

They can be used nefariously to push money to predicted winners and influence dumb people and that’s about it.

They aren’t. For the public at least, I can see why the campaigns might want it. For the rest of us it’s just a news story, nothing more.
