The timeline question is fair, but I don’t think the public train schedule is enough to conclude it couldn’t have happened. Members of Congress traveling into a war zone often don’t use ordinary itineraries, and parts of those movements aren’t necessarily public for security reasons.

The question I’d ask is what evidence would actually distinguish “the travel times don’t work” from “we don’t know the travel arrangements”? Right now those are getting treated as the same thing.
