I can understand why Dems want as illegals in the country. By no means do I agree with it but I do understand the strategy. What I don’t understand is why they protect criminal illegals like they do. There is nothing to gain and everything to lose by protecting criminal illegals. Yet they fight harder for the criminal illegals than they do for the illegals that actually did just came here to better their lives. It makes 0 sense!! These people are insane.

All Democrats are like this.

This guy came here from Laos in 1980, committed felony assaults in 1993, was attempted to be deported but Laos wouldn't accept him back. So Minnesota is alleging it's an old assault and they guy has proven he's no longer a risk to society. DHS alleges this man also had a 2008 felony assault charge but Minnesota is disputing it ever happened.

Was he arrested/convicted of the 2008 assault? Nobody seems to be able to tell.

Curious how this would shield him from deportation

Doesn't change the fact that he is here illegally and ICE has ever right in the world to arrest and deport his sorry arse.
Yeah, I don't get it. Wouldn't letting him OUT of prison make him MORE vulnerable to ICE?
