Plus, a single individual could have been and were contributing 2, 3, maybe even 4 positive test results to the overall nationwide total, per the way they were counting "positive cases". If a person tested positive initially, and for whatever reason had to produce a negative test before they could do x, y or z (say, for instance, be allowed back on work premises).....each one of those positive tests while trying to finally test negative were added to the tally despite the fact that they all came from the same individual in connection with the same case of covid.

With no symptoms.
And quarantining kids.
My friend’s 7th grade kid is not allowed to school for his last two weeks because he was exposed to an adult that tested positive (with no symptoms).
