Surely in a legal proceeding, circumstantial things like his fatherr praising Allah wouldn't matter, but this isn't a courtroom, and circumstantial events like this matter because it adds another straw to what's already known about the traitor and Chief. Dismiss it if you want, but don't try and tell everyone else what does and does not matter. Everything is dismissed as shiny things by Obama defenders.

I'm no Obama fan, but that looked more like a grimace than a smile to me...
Not that it helps, a lot can be read into a grimace, too. But he didn't look happy to me.

And Rev, I am so far from an Obama supporter. I'm focusing on what's legally important bc that's the only way to work around or work through this mess he is creating. Emotional, although curious, videos make the legitimately legal issues easily dismissed.
ETA - Using a person's personal Faith as an argument that they may be anti-America is pretty anti-American.

I do understand your point about not letting things in the periphery distract from the substance of what's going on. It does happen way to often. Hell, when's the last news coverage about the VA?

Oh, yeah. I saw it. And I won't argue that the dad is or isn't anti-American. There is certainly circumstantial evidence to support those who say he hates America and is supportive of her enemies.
I'm just saying that has nothing to do with the legal aspect of his son's case. I prefer to only deal with things that are legally valuable bc there is so much other stuff floating around it all becomes meaningless.

Thanks. Every night I pour a glass of wine and sit on our back patio chatting on TD or reading. My boy was always at my feet every night. I miss him most at this time.

Respectfully, the legal ahit is small potatoes. This is a foreign relations issue. We just gave the Taliban back 5 of their own (a year from now). What are we going to get besides this one guy, who is obviously not that valuable over all?
