Let me get something straight jackass. Just because I’m proud of my Confederate heritage doesn’t mean that I think slavery was right. It was wrong then and it still wrong today. But it’s (D)ifferent today because it’s done by the progressive movement and so nothing is done about it. Only if white fiscal conservatives were buying the black vote with food, shelter and education then something would be done about it.

Delaware, Maryland, Kentucky, and Missouri were all slave states that were in the Union army. That’s why the Emancipation Proclamation only applied to states who seceded. Lincoln didn’t want to piss off the Union slave states. Let’s not act like the Union was a righteous cause when blacks were still treated horribly for years in the Union states.
