Well it is a good thing we don’t worship the pope or the Vatican. We have 2,000 years of writings and tradition to lean on in our worship.
Christ's one Church will never be snuffed out, but that one Church does not exist exclusively in the organizational structure with the Pope as the head. That structure is as fallible as any other. That's why reform was needed in the past and is needed again.
