Going to try and watch all of the meeting..

Agenda item 1 -Fulton County Review mandated by HB202 based on 2020..will not be done until end of 2022 at best. Only 3 person committee and no resources. No ability to force Fulton to pay for it...Fulton is going to drag this out for certain.

A small item in HB202 that went not discussed much was a "study" to review the appropriate way for "private" donations to local election boards to be handled...think mobile voting buses and extra drop boxes in Fulton and Dekalb.

The recommendation that is headed back to General Assembly is that the a separate board be setup and all private money go through that group and to counties based on NEED.

Before next Presidential election look for private money to no longer be able to be given directly to local election boards.

As a reminder, the SOS is no longer part of the State BOE.

My county not on there. Very disappointing. Wanted to see some action on the folks.

In short, none of the consent, letter, or cases for prosecution amounted to much. Most minor or dismissed for no evidence.

It is nice having the State BOE separate from SOS office.

The only compelling thing was the already known issue of counties not preserving video that will be addressed.

HB202 did many things that will make cheating harder in 2024. The legislature has two sessions to continue adjusting things prior to that election.
