He did not verbatim say “the flag is racist”. Words can be used to say things indirectly, and he was clearly saying the flag is racist.
Consider this, if a driver tells a potential passenger “look Ive been drinking and I’m going to get in a wreck”.
You would be the passenger who does not think the driver is telling the passenger that it might not be a good idea to get in the car because he did not explicitly state “you should not get in my car”.
You are too dumb to continue responding to.

quote:I can’t tell you what he means, but I can show examples throughout history of systemic racism.
You're accusing everyone of misquoting his exact quote, yet you are assigning meaning that he didn't express. Tell us what he meant
Slavery
Jim Crow
Redlining
Those are textbook examples of systemic racism, and it isn’t unreasonable for a person to conclude that our flag represents to him this history.
In a society where individual racism exists to any extent, a minority is more likely to be the target of racism than a majority is. That is an example of structural racism that inevitably appears in our system of government in some way/shape/form, so one could argue that as an example of systemic racism.
My or anyone else’s saying this is not meltworthy. It’s just what it is.

You have to hand it to the Left. They might be a bunch of filthy, lying, no-good snakes, but you have to give them credit for one thing. At least 50 years ago they made one of their principle goals to co-opt the academic institutions of America and make them bastions of left-wing lunacy.
They have largely succeeded.
PS - Compare this fool, and those who agree with him, to those young protesters in Hong Kong who have been waving American flags. How insane is it that those people look at America and see the greatest country on Earth, yet the left-wing loons who live here are totally blind to that fact?

Dude just stop, you're making yourself look bad, just to try to prove a point that most here will disagree with. It's just Semantics.

He said it represents....
He didn’t say it is....
A flag is a piece of cloth that represents something. It is an inanimate object incapable of being racist, or not being racist. He asserts in no uncertain terms that the flag represents systemic racism.
"The nazi symbol represents white supremacy". Is the exact same thing as "the nazi sysmbol is a white supremacy symbol".
You're about half as clever as you think you are....

I’m not the one stretching the man’a quote to fit my agenda. I’m taking his quote at face value. Very fine people.

That guy said illegals are better then citizens and cheered when the Kate Steinle killer got his charge tossed. Just let that soak in

You are trying way too hard. Sometimes it ok to say that your side is a POS.

The problem is you somehow conclude that he isn't saying what he clearly said.

If you have to have had racism foisted upon you to have an opinion on racism, professor, you also have to own guns to have an opinion on that issue.
All you unarmed, anti gun mo fos STFU.

It’s so bad lol.
He keeps repeating the idiotic “very fine people” line.
But its hilarious because trump clearly meant there were fine people on both sides, not referring to the violent folks on either side...
This guy says the flag represents racism (ie is racist. It’s impossible to represent something while not being characteristic of what is represented)
They BOTH said what they meant. But Idiots think trump was thumbs upping “nazis”, and this guy is not saying the flag and police are racist.
Odd and very selective interpretations that dude keeps spinning.
