Turkey begins operations in Afrin to destroy YPG

With the announcement that the US might be in Syria indefinitely, this might be problematic.
It will be interesting to see how things go. A Turkish journalist on Twitter documented how many pro-NATO military officers, usually the best that Turkey had to offer, were rounded up in the aftermath of the failed coup and jailed, leaving Turkey with a dearth of quality fighter pilots.

Bump again for 2018 outrage of 1,500 Kurds being killed. We’ve had 400 threads wanting to protect Kurds. How come we couldn’t get one reply back in 2018 about protecting the Kurds? Where was all the “outrage”?
