Trying to delete fb

Havent logged in in 5 yrs. Now trying to log in to delete account. I had to change my password but it wont let me in.. they say theyll send me a code to my email but it never comes.. the other option is contact 3 friends (they selected) and ask them to go to a recover page and send me a code. I dont know these people anymore so thats not an option. Anybody had to navigate this?

They wanted me to upload my drivers license. I just waited 8 weeks and finally got he email yo reset password.

It was a pain in the arse to delete pictures and an account over 7 years ago. Cannot imagine the control they exert today.

Tried to delete mine 5 times and every time it would log me off...said my session had expired please log back in

Bongino explained this in his show yesterday. If you aren't active, deleting isn't a big deal. You are still free to delete, but if you truly don't use it, you are hurting them.

Persons deleting their Facebook accounts after 1/6 are suspected of being insurrectionists. Before their accounts can be deleted, all Facebook activity must be turned over to the Ministry of Information Retrieval (MIR). As with any government agency, it is a slow process.
