The wealthy elite would rather the American public suffer to accomplish their agenda. They're largely insulated from the effects of economic shock, so they can report as irresponsible as they wish

do you know how much crap you accumulate over 39 years of marriage, we have boxes and boxes of cristmas ornaments we couldn't put even a third of them on a single tree.

all this fear porn you're peddling is pearl clutching over durable goods. durable goods you buy rarely because they last. dish washers, washers and dryers, automobiles, it would take a long time for those types of items to drive inflation. non durable goods on other hand you by often and you use them up quickly or they wear out unless you're wiping your arse with chinamen toilet paper or brushing the remaining teeth you have with chinaman tooth paste which you're not since we don't import those things non durable goods are the primary driver of inflation.

as far as the market we've barely had a correction of 10% on the S&P i was sitting at an ADT terminal on black monday we where down 22% in one day i owned OEX puts i bought a new cadillac with that trade and paid cash for it.
