All football coaches contracts need to have an expectation clause in it. If we are going to guarantee X, you cannot lose more than a certain number of games or missed playoff years those clauses would significantly reduce the buyout. They do it for bonuses such as 10 win seasons, certain bowls, SEC Championship, etc. Why not for a reason to fire your arse?
