Trump Press Conferences - Why are radical Democrats permitted to dominate questioning?

Half the country voted for Trump. Where are OUR half of the questions for the POTUS?
There was a time that the White House press corps was made up of mostly evenhanded Journalists. Those days are long gone.
We see one or two fair reporters... once in a while. We deserve at least half the questioning. We are half (or more in 2020) of the nations voters.

I have watched a bunch of the update press briefings and other than a couple of familiar faces (the gray headed Fox guy) all of the press appear to be very young cannon fodder types that whoever they work for, are sent by their organizations to ask “gotcha” questions.

The White House staff needs to bring in more pro-Trump reporters (forget about fair-and-balanced journalists - that ship sailed decades ago)

Yes, but I don’t remember what they asked. It’s almost as though they don’t even listen to the briefing and ask something they heard or read elsewhere.

I would like to see Trump say "you get one question only. No "follow-ups" or "secondly" questions will be answered, we need to have a more diverse presser".

I think he does it on purpose. He delivers his message and then allows the the media to embarrass themselves. It's a win-win right now.
Yesterday when he mentioned that shutting down the economy could cause more deaths than the virus a reporter asked if one of the doctors could give a "medical opinion" that validated his claim. He shut it down and said it's just common sense. People will get depressed. Suicides and domestic violence will go up.
