Thats not what I asked.
I dont care what you asked. Fed cut rates 1% and inflation hasnt risen and will continue to decrease once they use accurate rents for the CPI
Lowered energy will also cause inflation to further drop
Rates will follow like he said. Add in Chynas issuse which is deflationary

Because you dont have a fricking clue.
Trump wants to cut rates as a stimulus, that should give you some clue.

Bingo
It was the trillions of Federal stimulus bills that caused inflation.
Oil os a big factor in inflation as well.
Something else to ponder is the slowing world economy. Trump will have better data to see whats going on.
An example:
Liquefied natural gas shipping costs are plummeting as the market grapples with a glut of vessels, a development that could provide relief for gas importers and help pad profits for traders.
The cost to hire a modern tanker with 174,000-cubic-meters of capacity in the Atlantic Basin fell to $9,750 per day on Thursday, down about 59% from a month earlier, according to data from Spark Commodities. This is the lowest rate on record for a vessel in that category.

With lower interest rates Trump can finally concentrate on real infrastructure financing and buildout,
If it were that easy, why have higher rates at all?

December existing home sales +2.2% m/m vs. +1.2% est. & +4.8% prior … median sale price +6% y/y to $404,400; inventory fell by 13.5% m/m (typical at end of year) but still up by 16.2% y/y
In 2023, gross U.S. farm income totaled $608.5 billion ... California generated most at $65.3 billion, followed by Iowa at $44.7 billion
Employment (blue) and workweek (orange) components in Kansas City Fed Manufacturing Index have been improving … both managed to move into expansion territory (albeit slightly) in January
Year/year growth in continuing jobless claims has picked back up, but still lower than where it was for most of 2023

How can he do this? This seems like something Slow Joe would do.

He can’t. Powell can’t. Laggards can’t. The biggest lie in politics is that central banks control interest rates.
