It was obvious when he was running for Prez. His views went from being a mid-range liberal to off the charts progressive/marxist when he decided to run.
This is the reason Obama has never left DC and gone quietly like most presidents do. He has been working behind the scenes and is pulling the strings in a cabal of marxist with his same views, which is to completely change America.
This is why things have gone so far left and out of whack so fast. Media, cabal of marxist in politics and power all pushing hard to "fundamentally change America".

The radical left marxists are working in conjunction with the oligarchs at the moment. Yet the two are mortal enemies. Both are using the other. In the 30s, the "oligarchs" felt they could use Hitler but that didn't turn out quite as they planned. Events could turn out differently today but only time will tell.
IMO, both have authoritarian or totalitarian intentions. The radical left will end democracy if they can while the oligarchs will accept the appearance of democracy as long as they are in charge and will crack down as hard as necessary to maintain control. Both are enemies of the Republic, the constitution and any real will of the people that threatens their power..
