I'm going to state a more than likely unpopular opinion, but I think it's still correct:

These blue city mayors are taunting the incoming Trump admin on purpose. They've quickly realized that illegal immigrants are causing havoc in their cities and by poking the figurative bear, Trump will zero in on their city first. Who wouldn't want to save money and lives and be first on the chopping block? It will make the mayor look good all the while crying about breaking up families etc.

Homan (sp?) sends in NG or BP or whomever he is going to use to clear out the deadweight and voila, you now have a city more or less free of illegals.

No, no, no.....stop acting like liberals.......deport all illegals from non-sanctuary cities and stop fed funding to the sanctuary cities on day 1; shite will work itself out fast.

This is why I don't understand why people here mindlessly downvote when I post that we should pass a law that after a certain date, anybody caught here illegally goes to prison for 30 years.

If people will flock to "safe" places, they will flee "unsafe" places. Make the whole country "unsafe."

You can still deport every one of them you can find before that date. But if they know they are going to prison for the rest of the better part of their lives, you won't have to find them and deport them. They'll self-deport.

Interesting idea!
I was thinking more menial, like hauling rocks out of rock quarries. But that works too.

Flood California Illinois New York and the PNW for good measure.

Give them exactly what they’ve asked for.

You can also withhold federal funding.
And possibly prosecute any person responsible for the state ignoring/ breaking federal law.

Until there are consequences for bad behavior nothing will change.
