85$ a month surcharge for my company. Citing the millions they spent on employees during this whole thing. Hospital stays etc.. it’s a croc

In. I am an RN and absolutely not getting that shot. 62 y/o and retired military so I can get by although not quite where I want to be. My wife knows it will be a war if they come for any of my family. My son, also an RN lost his job at UMMC in Jackson, MS over this. Did not cave and he is married with 4 kids. Damn proud of him.

I too work for a federal contractor and I expect to receive mine today. My director sent me a screenshot of the CEO's preview message to the higher ups. Looks like I will be on the 1099 route for the foreseeable future because I will not get the jab and I have a new house, 2 kids in catholic school. The way I see it, the firm was already in a pickle due to the number of open positions and once the mandate is lifted I have a chance to go back at a higher compensation rate because they'll have so many openings they won't come close to filling.
I got the message as expected. I get paid until Dec 8th.
One man's decision caused this. ONE! Let that sink in.
