You're right of course but it's not limited to buzzwords. many of these vermin pretend to be conservative when pretense has no consequences.
Just look at the symbolic votes to repeal obamacare when barry was in office and the quick 180-degree reversal by some when Trump took over.
Voters are noticing and the bar has been raised. We don't have to settle for rhetoric and posturing any longer.
At least we shouldn't.

Then, why didn't Trump go after Mark Meadows and other "Freedom Caucus" members? If he has a hard-on for conservatives and people that merely complicate his policy efforts, he would surely target them.

Sanford biggest problem is that he's notorious for being aloof and a jerk. His staffers were like a revolving door when he was governor and he had a knack for pissing off even his ideological allies. Instead of trying to work with Trump on certain issues, as Rand Paul has done, Sanford takes these disagreements personally and then cries to the media about it.
