My son is an electrician and his Louisiana based company sent him and a couple of others to a large commercial construction job the company is doing in Huntsville. His company had difficulties hiring Huntsville local electricians, and they hooked up with a couple of dozen "electricians" that are from Honduras (legal). He said those Honduran guys were beasts when it came to running conduit, but don't let them do any wiring. A lot of the wiring they did was done wrong and that's the reason he and the other couple of guys were sent to Huntsville. They had to redo a bunch of wiring. And he said the Hondurans know very little about doing things to code, they have to be constantly watched that they were doing things the right way.

Don’t mistake my title as trying to rally sympathy for illegals. I want them 100% deported. They are a drain on our resources and are undercutting our wages of American workers.

Nothing will happen, because it isn't illegal immigrants taking jobs. Its the legal H-1B immigrants taking them. Trump has no intention of stopping them. In fact, they are adding 65,000 more in 2025.

Not entirely true. My youngest son is a plumber’s apprentice and just started apprentice school. We need to restart the trade track in high school. College is a way to debt for many kids with no hope for gainful employment once graduating. The trades offer well paying jobs and good futures for those entering these fields.

You are sending him into the wrong field then. LEGAL migrants are taking over this industry and there isn't going to be much work, no retirement, or anything else. Young people are being mislead again by well intentioned adults.

He will see for himself.

Getting a green card isn’t that hard

Correct … my family grows a lot of produce and bro-in-law is a landscaper. All their foreign workers are legal with visas. This damage to ag & construction is a lie that simps are eating up
