What about all the other nicknames? Were they actual people too?

How about this: Pick any of these types of movies and name one black character who was actually portrayed as bigoted and racist against white people. I’ll wait.

Seriously?

I mean, I won't dispute that the majority are the other way.

I say that because I also won't dispute that the majority of race relations issues can be laid at the feet of whites in this country.

Before the 60's, it was slavery, and then Jim Crow laws.

Since the 60's, it has been the Great Society crap that guilt-ridden and sycophantic white liberals have used to make themselves feel magnanimous while creating a culture of destructive dependence in the black community (so they can CONTINUE to victimize these groups for their political gain).

To your specific point, there are PLENTY of movies out there where black characters victimize white characters almost BECAUSE they are white. And, no, there are probably not many where they have some epiphany and realize how they are wrong.

Imma guess, though, that it would be one of the harder sells out there to get a move made where the black guy confronts his racism and says "Hey, you whities is all right." I could point to the projects scenes in "The Blind Side", but you'd just argue that gets lost in the bigger story in the movie.

I guess we'll just have to settle for them continuing to be cast as the unreformed criminals and leave it at that.
