He’s not charged with any crimes. Trump is deporting less than Biden so they are using this as a distraction for the dummies.

Dude... you said ELON MUSK is doing it. He's not. Talk about mental gymnastics.
Look I'm not trying to be rude but you clearly don't even understand or you are trying to skirt the issue entirely. It's unconstitutional and frankly it's beyond bad from an Ethics standpoint

Ah yes, the usual attempt to deflect instead of addressing the hypocrisy. So let’s break this down:
No I'm actually saying the exact same thing to you. You guys are making a big deal about all these people trespassing but what's happening is illegal and people are going to get upset and they're going to do a lot of things like this so you better buckle up cuz you're going to see a lot more crap like this.
quote:
Elon Musk 'illegally shutting down agencies'? What actual laws were broken? Or do you just mean he's resisting politically motivated investigations? Because if we’re suddenly pretending government agencies are always impartial and righteous, that’s some next-level naivety.
Well you're doing some interesting mental gymnastics there. I never said that government agencies are always righteous. Are you just one of those people who thinks everything is either really good or really bad? If you want to have an adult conversation we can have one but if you're going to frame everything however you want to make it easier for you to argue against a straw man then I can't really help you.
Congress appropriates the money for agencies and for expenditures. The executive branch is not allowed to reappropriate funds appropriated by Congress. It's really not hard to understand. There are three branches of government and they are not supposed to impede on each other. It's literally in the Constitution and all of you people who claim to be Pro Constitution seem to forget how it works whenever it's convenient. The executive branch shutting down agencies and stopping funds from reaching their source that were appropriated by Congress is illegal and unconstitutional. It's really simple

Protesters being deported? Are you saying non-citizens who break laws shouldn't be subject to deportation? Because that’s literally how every country operates. Also, if these people didn’t commit a crime, what exactly were they arrested for? You can’t have it both ways.
I'm noticing a pattern where you like to create a straw man in order to make your argument work. He didn't do anything illegal. Trump is doing things that are way out of pocket and unconstitutional. He's a want to be dictator and all of the people like me have been trying to tell all of the people like you this for a long time and now you're seeing it happen. Look at the markets crash as he plays power games with Canada. The guy is absolutely out of control. But back to the subject at hand, the guy that they shipped all the way down to Louisiana wasn't doing anything illegal. Organizing protests is a First Amendment right and he was a permanent resident with a green card. If they can arrest someone for protesting and organizing protests simply because they are a permanent resident then they can justify The Next Step which is taking any citizen of the United States and deporting them or gagging them for protesting. You really need to stop thinking about being so partisan and realize that this guy doesn't care about the Constitution and if you support the things that he's doing then neither do you
quote:
Trespassing in a private building isn’t a crime now? Interesting, because last time I checked, breaking into a federal building on January 6th was treated like the crime of the century, and those people didn’t get the luxury of being bussed out and released elsewhere.
Where did you see me say it wasn't a crime? It is a crime. I'm just saying it's being done as civil disobedience because of what's happening. Doesn't mean it's not a crime. And also trying to equate that to January 6th is pretty silly. Those people were trying to stop the ratification of an election. They were trying to change the course of the United States because they were naive dumb people who got manipulated
quote:
So which is it? Are laws supposed to apply equally, or only when it benefits your side?
I think this is a question you should ask yourself. If you want to keep projecting at me that's fine but just realize that I'm calling you on it because what you're doing right now is exactly what you're mad at me for
