And if you don't think Hitler would have used them, and if you don't think he would never have stopped until he ruled the whole world, I don't know what to tell you.

Imagine if Nazi Germany had acquired nukes first, while we were sitting on our asses. It's very probable that we would have been attacked. Not until Hitler owned all of Europe first, sure. But that wouldn't have taken but a few atom bombs to accomplish.

I like you as a poster and we agree on many things.

But isolationism is just actively, willfully stupid.

The closest parallel is the people who still advocate for communism even though it's never succeeded, (because THIS time we'll do it right.)

In both cases human nature makes them both impossible, and simple observation should reveal that as an obvious fact.
