The issue I have is that if a US org is taking donation for anything that can remotely appear to be political ideology, zero funds should be allowed from outside the country and ALL funds should be traceable back to an individual donor. There is no way to know where the funds Johnny donated came from. He is most likely just a piece of the laundering network into US politics and policy.
Of course Congress does not care about this because they are beneficiaries of it, just like the fraud in all the billions they send to fraud orgs.
