Under the logic the MSM is using, TRUMP should never have been elected because there isn't a single supporter of his left in the public.

Two things:

1) Millions more people voted for his opponent
2) The Tea Party Protest were also made to look like a majority despite substantially more people supporting Obama's agenda than currently support Trump's

Why would they only need to be from the district i question?
Because we are a Representative Democracy and the protesters are not from the that District.

go ahead and keep believing that to your detriment. I remember in 2009 when the Dems claimed the Tea Party protests were all funded by the Koch brothers.

Now the Dems make your grass roots movement effortless! The 5 calls app, not only dials numbers of reps for you, but also gives you a script so you don't even have to think for yourself!

The difference being The Tea Party was doing it in house. It's akin to "if my children need to be disciplined, it will be my me and not by you".

I would think that Democrats need to be disciplining their own house. The evidence is definitely there.

What house would a person in a red state go to my friend? The republican representatives represent EVERYONE..not just republicans...

My GOP representative is so skeered he won't even come home LOL...he knows what is waiting for his arse when he sets foot in the land of enchantment. Dude also won't answer phones from anyone....there are more disgruntled Republicans with this fricker than there are democrats as there ain't many democrats in his district....

That cocksucker will be coming home in a few months though begging for votes....he has to come home sometime LOL....

Are you serious, Clark? Why can't libs wrap their warped minds around the fact that we don't live in a pure democracy? The US has never been a pure democracy, and was never setup as one. The US is a representative republic. Our representatives are in congress to represent the districts that elected them. Good grief man, take a civics lesson or two.

That old chestnut again? Y'all used to be fun to banter with but I swear the level of discourse on these boards has taken a serious nose dive since the elections. How are representatives in a representative republic elected my friend? Suggesting that the process is one of democracy in no way implies that ours is a pure democracy. At the basest level it is a pure democracy in that we elect people to represent us at various levels of government through the democratic process...those people are then charged with representing ALL of their constituency in a second semi-democratic process....sometimes a purely democratic process depending on what they are doing....

Representatives in Washington, especially senators, have a very un-democratic amount of power...the 2 from Wyoming's votes count the same as the two from California....therefore it is well within the rights of Californians to petition the senators from Wyoming....but those two senators are elected in what is as close to a pure democratic process as you can achieve in a society with law and order....

We are a representative republic my friend....one of you friends tried to correct me on that mistake which I did not make but it does make a difference here....there is nothing in the constitution which says you only have the right to petition the government of your district only. Given that Senators especially have the same number of votes regardless of how many people those votes represent it is perfectly understandable and acceptable for people outside of that district to petition their government since that individual is also representing them.
