How? This is a typical building. The windows do not open. Firing a rifle off inside a building would foolish if you are planning on escaping

Firing from an open rooftop isn't too bright, either. What if their are LEO or news copters in the air? Drones?

Not to make light of it, but this was Charlie Kirk, not tPOTUS. There is a huge difference in resources. Drones in the air require additional manpower that neither Charlie of the locals had at their disposal.

I think this is a valid point, but it's probably a safe bet Utah Valley State Police doesn't have helicopters or drones.

Charlie was in a weird spot where he's a very high-profile conservative figure who clearly had direct communication with Trump and Vance, but also a relatively normal dude. He had a decent security team as evidenced by their reaction and rushing him to the SUV, but that was the extent of it. Nobody was shutting down campus or setting up checkpoints around his event locations.

You have hundreds, maybe thousands there. Possibly protestors.
You have to figure there are police there.
And it's a news event, so not hard to believe a helicopter would be there to get some footage.

From the video it looked like he was running as soon as the crowd ducked.
He didn't take time to case his rifle.
Did he leave it or run with it?

It would have been super foolish to carry one openly on campus.

Exactly. The hardest part is the egress.
Shooting from an exposed roof, then being seen running away is pretty sloppy, at best.

I'm just telling you what the cop said in the press conference. They are essentially a small town police department according to him. They had 5 or 6 officers working the event in addition to Charlies team. Helicopters cost money to operate ad they are loud which makes them not ideal for a guest posted up outside debating folks.

But if you're the shooter, you can't plan on a half-arse security team, and a clean getaway.

Is that area on the left side an amphitheater or something? Or does it look lower to the ground because it is highlighted?

I disagree. He shot a man 200 yards away (2 football fields) the panic and commotion was in front of him in a low lying area. The people behind him in the buildings cannot immediately see or hear the chaos, so they have no idea what haas taken place in the immediate aftermath. By the time he reaches the staircase he has long since disappeared from anyone's view on the green, and he is probably closer to 300 yards away by the time he hits the stairs. He vacated the area before anyone in the building was even aware of a shooting. He just walked cool and calm, blended in and left the area

Yes. If you can find it on Google maps there are multiple street view dots to see it

Easily could have been, yes. However, possibility is not equal to probability.
