There are only 2 scenarios upon which we can return to normalcy

As the country becomes more and more divided, we are going down a slippery slope which cannot be stopped. The grand American Experience has been remarkable but it is no longer attainable. We have become too diverse and we lack the moral values that once made America the only country not built on a shared ethnicity. From the Ottoman Empire to the Austro-Hungarians, the ethnic divide is too deep to repair.
The only two outcomes I see being sustainable is a break up of the nation based on regional division or an absolute Civil War that we saw in Spain and the result of a Franco style government. There is no outcome on a long term basis where America last another 50 years.
