I completely disagree. I think the fact that both things occurred at the same time compounded the sell off. It's not out of the question either that some millionaire associated with the article sold a bunch of shares just to short the stock.
I'd argue that DraftKings (DKNG) reported worse Q3 results today & it only dropped 4% at it's worst point today. It's down about 7% on the week & was close to 9% at the worst today.
Quite a difference compared to PENN yesterday.
