The second amendment.
All things are connected. Remember this when you are interpreting the news.
I’m not suggesting any type of false flag. I feel deeply for those suffering in Texas today. I’m more speaking of how an event like this will be used by the media.

I grew up in rural America, but never got into hunting, fishing and camping. Spent my youth outside of school on a basketball court or working. I have never owned a gun. Have always supported the 2nd amendment because it’s the second amendment, but was never passionate about it.
I have recently been transformed into a huge/enthusiastic 2A guy for the reason you highlight in your post. And, I’m going to purchase a firearm this year and learn how to use it.

Good for you! You'll end up like me and have several guns that you carry depending on clothes and time of year. The gun you carry also needs to be the one you are most proficient with. Buy plenty of ammo and practice as much as you can.

Tell you what, baw. Long shot here but if you are NW of San Antonio I'd we willing to take you to a range and get some experience with your first firearm. Always good to see new folks get excited to support the 2A.
