I don't trust Vance at all. An ingratiaing opportunist. His history is especially difficult to dismiss as one old quote: his criticism occurred repeatedly across interviews, writing, social media and private communications in 2016. The Atlantic even republished his “cultural heroin” essay in July 2026 because the contrast with his current position had become so notable.
Trump Jr.? LMAO. That is hard to compare seriously with most of this list.
Of that list, I guess I'd have to go for Rubio. He at least has an extensive record in government: Florida House speaker, 14 years in the U.S. Senate, presidential candidate in 2016 and now Secretary of State. Whether someone agrees with him politically or not, there is a substantial governing and foreign-policy record to evaluate.
