Are the Dems likely to be obstructionist? Sure. Does that article read like a propaganda piece? Yep.
Perhaps a piece from Axio stating the same thing would be sufficient for you?

There is not precedent to what happened to Bork.
You need to dig a bit deeper if you believe this, the shenanigans of the late 19th century make Bork's confirmation look like a polite tea party, they even changed the number of justices back and forth for political purposes.

You seem to have forgotten the Ted Kennedy/Joe Biden display of rank hysteria and lying attacks on Bork.
Both of these two assholes should have been shunned from polite society after their slanderous outrages.
Agreed, certainly not a fan of either one

???quid pro quo???? with Nixon over Watergate
this was common knowledge that Bork admitted to in his memoirs, give them a read sometime.

The confirmation process is now reduced to searching out 'gotcha' trivia to blather about.

I personally will be shocked if the GOP manages to get Kav seated before the end of 2018.
I'm leaning towards the guess that they will NOT have the capability to do so. Whether they actually have the DESIRE to do so is also something I question.
At this point in history, I question whether the Republican Party really has the desire to win anything. I know that they want to be in the big seats in FedGov, because that enhances their own personal prestige, but, whether they really want to lead and make public policy by working hard -- I really question that.

May be? That dude is the poster child for unhinged. He's one of the biggest crybabies I've ever seen in my life.
