I've heard some say Smith was not legally/properly assigned to be a Special Prosecutor.

Correct he was never confirmed by the senate and was never a selected special prosecutor. He was there to dig up anything and everything on Trump. It was basically 2016 Russia hoax 2.0

I only saw about 3 minutes of Smith's testimony, but just about everybody was saying that he presented himself very poorly today. He was awful in the short clip I saw. His most prominent answer was, "I don't remember."
