The blue dog Democrats are long gone. They are the party of open borders, identity politics and socialism now.

Even if any "Blue dog" Democrats did exist they would still caucus and vote with the radical leftists.

I'm hearing from folks in Travis and Burnet counties that there is a "software" glitch and voting straight ticket was somehow omitting Cruz's name from the ballot. Can't confirm, just seeing reports on fb feeds.

Houston here and took me 10-15 mins total. Probably about 100 people in front of me but the line went quickly. Pretty sure people are voting straight ticket this time around.

I voted yesterday in Plano, TX at a small library. I only was there for 5 minutes, but there were tons of people there in and out all day. Saw some Van Taylor bumper stickers on cars, which means Republican.

Friend of mine voted in Frisco, TX today at a fire station and the wait was an hour at lunch. Couldn’t tell the demographic. But if I know Frisco, they voted Republican.

Maxx, I checked my vote and it was good. Then hit submit so after that I can't tell you.

NO, i did not vote twice. Texas voter id laws should be in place and the polling station was very efficient.

Now maybe in parts of the state they won't check but here they did.

Voted in Kingwood today...line took about 15 minutes. The election worker told me they are running around 2000 people per day at that location.

What does this mean? I see you guys keep parroting it all over the place and I hear your media Overlords saying it too. It doesn't really make any sense to me considering the borders are same as they've always been

Voted in Collin County today. About a 12 minute wait and that was because the old guy scanning licenses was confused

I was the only white male in my line

Because the wall is a stupid idea and a waste of money. Did you know that most illegals here came in with a Visa and then just stayed after it expired? And even stopping foot traffic is a simple as digging a tunnel or climbing over. It's ludicrous to think the wall would do anything

Give me a fricking break. A thousand illegals are being caught a day. You don't get "caught" if you have the proper paperwork. What a tool.

Encouraging illegal immigration, sanctuary cities and amnesty. A country with no borders or immigration laws that are enforced is doomed to fail.

Wait to see what similar policies in countries like Belgium do in a few generations.

This is the only thing Democrats try to pass off as a suggestion about controlling illegal immigration - some variant of “the wall is stupid.” This is often preceded or followed by a rhetorical question- “who said anything about open borders?”

So. If you don’t want an “open border” but you also don’t want immigration limits, merit based citizenship requirements, a physical barrier, and an enforcement arm for violators of the law’s in place how exactly do you suggest we prevent an open border?

So what's the plan for the Alamo?

The state just a few years ago took control of it from the Daughters of the Texas Republic, claiming mismanagement.

Then the state (through the land commissioner, George P. Bush) decided to restore the Alamo courtyard, which is in front of the current structure and was encompassed by a fortress. That's where most of the battle occurred and most deaths happened. Today, it has a street running through it and hundred-year-old buildings, which will be acquired by eminent domain.

The famed cenotaph also will be moved.

I don't trust the state to do this, expect it to be a huge boondoggle, and think what was once free to visit will have admission charged to subsidize it.

I think it should be left alone.
